This site is an effort to consolidate, index and enhance interesting documents and systems from the state of Maine government. It is a work in progress that went live with a single feature in late March 2008.

• bills mentioned in record are linked from details page

• highlighted bill numbers and senator/representative names in html view.
• public comment section on every session details page
• link to specific sections of public record

Bills

• available for the current (123rd) legilative session
• bill pages link to sessions in which the bill has been mentioned
• links to bill details in state system (for now)
• public comment section on every bill details page

Hearing Schedule

• all known public hearings are listed
• updated every hour
• items link to page for related bill
• mouseover shows more details

There is a huge amount of data out there and I have many ideas for features. So keep an eye on this page.
